Flavour: Nose: Soft, plush aromatics entice with suggestions of stewed fruits and sweet spice, but remain relatively subdued. More vanilla oak with exposure.

Palate: A light, semisweet entry leads into a rich, rounded mid palate that finely counterpoints the malt against the drying oak. Spices are finely tuned with the wood that seems to assert itself towards the finish which is dry, fresh and slightly tannic.

Finish: Warming spices persist. Could be easily mistaken for a middle aged Speysider.
